The Arts, Culture and Enterprise Project, Inc. (ACE), a New York- based non-profit organization, has developed Caribbean Culture Week™ as a collaborative effort between individuals and institutions engaged in Caribbean Arts, Culture and Enterprise. The objectives of this week-long celebration are:
· To showcase the broad spectrum of Caribbean cultural assets by coordinating a variety of high quality events that expresses the special characteristics of Caribbean Arts and Culture.
· To provide exposure, through granting of licenses to local- based Caribbean organizations engaged in cultural programming or the promotion and sale of cultural products
· To build consumer interest in Caribbean Culture and the events, programs and business operations of participating of licensees.
To facilitate broad participation, Caribbean Culture Week™ offers organizations non-exclusive licenses to organize special events and programs as part of the week-long celebration. Caribbean Culture Week™. and ACE will:
- Engage and contract Licensees.
- Assist Licensees with event development.
- Enter strategic alliances to provide Licensees with cooperative advertising opportunities.
- Secure sponsorship opportunities for the benefit of Licensees.
- Provide approvals & quality control.
- Implement anti-counterfeit protection measures.
