Santerians: The Art of Joe Quesada, bridges the gap between super  heroes and spirituality. In the series "Daredevil: Father" written and  illustrated by Joe Quesada  the popular Marvel character Daredevil  meets a new team of heroes, ?the Santerians?. These characters created by Joe, based on Orishas, deities from the Afro-Cuban religion Santeria, come to life for the first time on comic book pages.  Controversial?  Perhaps, but in collaboration with Marvel Comics, this  collection of original art will  be exclusively on display and kick off  the 2007 season at the Franklin H. Williams  Caribbean Cultural Center  African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI). Joe Quesada is one of the most highly respected figures in  the comic book industry as  an illustrator and for rejuvenating the focus and progress of Marvel Comics as its Editor ?in-Chief. This  exhibition is a collaboration between the Center and Joe who has supported the mission of (CCCADI) and  has kindly donated his work to CCC.  produce this unique show.
